Access to Health Services

Overall, there has been significant progress on the goals and activities of the Access to Health Services Action Team. The comprehensive assessment of community access to health services received over 300 responses, hearing from both community members and providers. The action team also established a website page found here featuring community resources to address the needs that were identified through the survey. Additionally, a flyer with a QR code to access the website was developed and is being distributed to community partners. Lastly, a survey and collection of all transportation options in Kane County was developed and an analysis of the gaps and barriers was completed. While the results indicated minimal need for transportation options, the team shifted focus to collaborate with local providers to promote telehealth services.
